The Human Resources (HR) Department of the Corning Union High School District is fundamentally committed to supporting the district’s core educational mission by ensuring we recruit, develop, and retain the highest quality faculty and staff. We act as strategic partners to administrators and employees, maintaining a focus on compliance, equity, and fostering a positive, professional work environment.
 
Our primary function is managing the complete employee lifecycle. This includes aggressive, innovative recruitment and staffing strategies to address critical needs across teaching, administrative, and operational roles. We streamline the onboarding process to ensure new staff are integrated efficiently and are equipped with the necessary resources and training to succeed from day one.
 
Furthermore, the HR Department meticulously manages essential administrative services, including accurate and timely payroll and benefits administration. We ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as the fair and consistent application of district policies and collective bargaining agreements. By providing robust support for employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution, we aim to cultivate a stable, productive, and engaging workplace that ultimately serves the success of every student.
