The Business Department of Corning Union High School District is dedicated to transparent and strategic financial stewardship, ensuring that every public dollar is utilized to maximize student success and operational efficiency across the district. Our department oversees critical functions essential for the daily operation and long-term sustainability of the district. This work is centered on Budgeting and Fiscal Planning, where we develop and manage the annual operating budget, providing financial forecasting and ensuring strategic resource allocation that aligns with the Board of Education's priorities and legal compliance requirements. Additionally, we handle all Financial Operations, including managing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and mandated financial reporting to state and federal agencies, thereby guaranteeing timely and accurate compensation for staff and vendor payments.
